IE8 ordered lists

Seems software development is getting day by day more difficult. At Microsoft they seems to break even the things which had worked before.

With the release of Internet Explorer 8 beta 1, I tested to see how does nanbudo.fi look like. The ordered lists seem to create worries for the IE 8 rendering engine:

  1. http://nanbudo.fi/forces/croatian
  2. http://nanbudo.fi/forces/finnish

The attached images show the snapshot of the pages in question. See the first of the two ordered lists. In the first address the numbering is 1., 0. and 1. In the second address the numbering is 1., 2., and 0. The second ordered list seems to work. I guess the IE 8 rendering engine learns after the first list to show the second list sometimes correctly, but forget when going to another page. Sometimes the second list has 9. on the last item which should be 7.

Third image attached is a screen shot of the Windows update homepage which complains that the browser should be Internet Explorer 5 or higher. I believe 8 is.

One more thing to complain, IE blog says that the new Explorer will support CSS 2.1 fully. It would be a time for CSS 3 already.
