Some people like to be early at the training, thus the training can begin as soon as scheduled. Then there are those who are purposely or unselfconsciously, late every time.

The context of this essay is mainly in Yuishinkai style karate and its “sister” school of Ryukyu kobujutsu. Most of the assumptions are made based on the personal experience by the writer upon his visit to Japan in April 2010.

In the beginning of May a group of Slovenian martial artists went to have trainings of two of their favourite martial arts at the coast of Slovenia. Here I count as a Slovenian too, but without a passport.

In the weekend of 10th and 11th of May 2008, there will be a Ryukyu Kobujutsu seminar in Ljubljana, Slovenia. It will be conducted by the Finnish head instructor of the style, Ilpo Jalamo, 6 dan Shihan.
