Mamori kamae at Utö, Finland

A mamori kamae (守り構え) - stance used in the ancient Ryukyuan martial art - Ryukyu Kobujutsu (琉球古武術), performed in the most southern place in Finland (フィンランド) where there are people constantly living.

A bow with a stick

In the Japanese martial arts, one should bow a so called 30 degree bow when showing respect to the training place, audience and whenever a higher respect isto be shown. The other standing bow, which is called the 15 degree bow, is used when training in pairs or when the bow is not to be highlighted.

The video attached shows one kind of a bow at the far side of the Archipelagos of the Southern Finland, on the rocks of Utö island.
