Last time I lived in a older wooden house was ten years ago in Turku. That house had a fireplace.

So far within a week I have managed to place some water trough the downstairs apartments ceiling.

My employer at Chebici bicycle shop said to me one day:

In last Sunday there was a rock festival in the peninsula of the "old village" (Vanhankylänniemi). It was organised by the Järvenpää city, Kypärä association and local Lions clubs.

Korkeasaari (literal translation: high island) is the island where the Helsinki Zoo in Finland is located.

Original plan for this summer was to go to as many seminar as possible in Scandinavia. Now it seems that the time is actually to be spent in the Southern Finland and just to go to one seminar abroad.

Immediately after landing to Helsinki-Vantaa airport, I went to R-kiosk to get a prepaid phone number. The customer service at go mobile told me that it would cost 4 €, but as the R-kiosk web site said, it was 9.9 €.

When the south part of Finland is currently without snow, there are still some places in the northern Finland where one can find some snow and ice.
