12 dears and Mr Speaker

Last week I saw several times a group of 12 dears while going and returning from work by train. These dears seem to be used to humans since they are not distracted even by the train. Sometimes they were 300 meters away, sometimes just 20...30 meters.

Somehow related to these 12 dears, another similar event took place. The Kalevala day at the Finnish Embassy in Ljubljana was held yesterday. There were two Kalevala speakers, first Paavo Lipponen (the head speaker of the Finnish parliament) in Finnish, followed by Julia Potrč in Slovene.

The dears I saw while reading Kalevala for the first time in my life.
