Wooden weapons

Most of the wooden weapons which are used in Japanese martial arts are marked with my last name.

A bag for Jo and Bokken, how to do it

The video attached here shows you in a fast way how to make a bag for your Japanese wooden weapons. The weapons referred here are called "Jo" and "Bokken", which are used for example in the Japanese martial arts called Aikido and Jodo.

Materials:

  • Shoe lace string, here used from a Finnish army boot
  • Cotton fabric 160x40 cm
  • Reflector sheet 3x40 cm
  • Black cotton yard.

Material costs around 15...25 €.
